Sieghaerd

SIEGHAERD - a name of ancient Germanic origin, pronounced: ZEEK-hart. Derived from the Germanic elements sigu "victory" and hard "brave, hardy". Forged from high carbon leafspring steel from a 100+ year old farm wagon. Sieghaerd is a stylized modern take on a Germanic seax, antiqued and embellished with leaf motifs and Nordic runes. With its bold lines and broad hefty yet swift feel in the hand, its a deadly defender in the thickest of battles, and trustworthy working companion in the heaviest of practical wood splitting work.
