the Old Alaskan Wandering Staff

This staff was a custom order by a now good friend of ours
who lives in the beautiful Ketchikan Alaska. He wanted it
to look as unique as possible, adding plenty of hidden runes
and motifs of knot work, it had to be tall sturdy and look
rustic and ancient, like it had been used for thousands of
years.
Spiraling down the length of the staff reads a Poem by Tolkien
written in his "Moon Rune" letters:
"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king."
At the top of the staff we even added a special touch for
sheer uniqueness. A small crystal that light up when twisted,
due to a hidden small maglight flashlight that was placed
deep inside the roots.
